Welcome to The Acupuncture Collective's Website
Welcome to the Acupuncture Collective web site. In a collaborative attempt to spread the benefits of Chinese medicine and to widen its accessibility we have grouped together here to offer a range of services tailored to all pockets!
Too often acupuncture is so expensive that it is a luxury only a few of us can afford - this should not be so - the benefits of this extraordinary ancient medicine are too important for it to remain so exclusive - in the modern world with its seemingly boundless stresses and pressures it is so easy to become disconnected; to end up unwell, medicated, living with aches and pains and side-effects that we often forget what it can be like to feel well; to feel comfortable, pain free and at ease in the world.
Acupuncture can be a pathway back to this state of health and wellbeing.
As well as working privately in clinics around the south east, at the acupuncture collective we offer a low cost multi-bed clinic. From £15-25 per treatment you can receive acupuncture from one of our highly qualified practitioners in a relaxing and healing environment at the Anahata Health Clinic
Our practitioners
Our 4 practitioners have degrees in Oriental Medicine and have trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, 5 element acupuncture and stems and branches acupuncture, which is an aspect of Chinese medicine exclusive to the International College of Oriental Medicine. Their training also includes in depth knowledge of western anatomy, physiology and pathology.
All our acupuncturists are members of the British Acupuncture Council ( to find out more go to - www.acupuncture.org.uk), the regulating body for acupuncture in the UK. The BAcC ensures that all members adhere strictly to the Codes of Professional Conduct, Safe Practice and Ethics, and that they have achieved the required level of training to become a qualified Acupuncturist, currently set at degree standard.
The Code of Safe Practice ensures that all needles used are single use, pre-sterilised and disposable. Once used the needles are discarded in the appropriate manner, so there is no risk of infection.
